Basketball Skills

This exciting and dynamic basketball skills course is designed for students who want to develop their game and have fun on the court. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an intermediate player aiming to enhance your skills, this course will help you take your basketball abilities to the next level. Throughout the course, students will focus on essential skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, and basketball IQ. Join us on the court to have fun, improve your game, and grow as a basketball player!​

Brain Games - Math Games and More

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 2nd-4th Grade in the Fall of 2025

In Math games and More, students will enjoy a fun–filled summer with a mix of classic board games and outdoor activities that promote critical thinking, teamwork, and math skills. Kids will explore strategy–based games to enhance focus and patience, while also participating in math skill games to reinforce math skills they learned throughout the year.

Build Your Own Country

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 3rd-5th, 4th-6th Grade in the Fall of 2025

Have you ever wanted to be in charge of your own country? Well, in this class you're the boss! You'll use your creativity to create and design all the different parts of your country. This includes writing laws, designing a flag, composing a national anthem, describing the landscape, and so much more! The possibilities are endless!

Busy Bees

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 4th-6th Grade in the Fall of 2025

Explore the world of bees & build your own bee house to take home to help support bees.  We’ll read, write, paint, draw, and build.  This class is designed to keep your interest and keep you busy.

Chill and Thrill: Relaxation Adventures

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 1st-4th Grade in Fall of 2025

Period: 1

Class Fee $10

Ready for a fun journey into relaxation? Chill & Thrill: Relaxation Adventures is a class for grades 2-4. Through exciting activities like yoga, coloring, puzzles, and more, you will discover ways to stay cool, calm, and collected no matter what life throws your way. We will work on relaxing our mind, boosting our mood, and feeling more confident when things get rough. Come along and find your chill while having a blast!

Concert FEST

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 1st-4th Grade in Fall of 2025

Period: 3

Class Fee $15
"Shake It Off" and "Dance the Night Away" at Concert Fest. If your child likes to dance and craft this is the class for them! For example, they will be making friendship bracelets, show off their dance moves and sing along with their favorite Pop Stars.​

Contain Your Excitement

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 4th-8th Grade in the Fall of 2025

Period: 1, 2

Class Fee $10

Social Studies by the Box! Kings & Queens? Ancient Rome? U.S. Presidents? World War II? Native Americans? Ancient Egypt? What Social Studies topic are you interested in? World History? U.S. History? Mrs. A. will provide a super fun way to get to know people, places, and events of history. I will make suggestions and provide the SS Box that contains all you need to learn the who, what, and when. Each student individually will choose a SS Box based on  interest. Don't see a SS Box that interests you? Create your own! Want to add to what is already in a SS Box? Go ahead and share your creative ideas! There are tons of topics. Historical landmarks around the world? Our USA national parks and monuments? Pearl Harbor? The Titanic? Stonehenge? Famous people - Thomas Edison, Rosa Parks, Ben Franklin, Sacagawea, King Tut, Hatshepsut... you tell me! We will read books, make crafts, create Google slides, make posters, and use your ideas to share the excitement for all of the cool history we will learn together! Join me this summer!

Intermediate STEM

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 4th-6th Grade in the Fall of 2025

Dive into the thrilling world of physics through the lens of roller coasters and race cars! This interactive, hands-on course will explore the science behind two of the most exhilarating human-made experiences. Students will learn about the key principles of physics such as energy, motion, forces, speed, acceleration, and friction, all while understanding how they apply to roller coasters and race cars, among other things.

LEGOS: Master Builders

Do you love Legos? if you're a great Lego builder or first timer, this is the class for you. Build Lego sculptures as a team or let your imagination run wild as you create your own masterpiece. Lets take our creativity to the next level together with Legos!​

 

Math Skills and Games

In this course, students will strengthen their foundational math skills through engaging lessons and fun, interactive activities. Tailored for 4th and 5th graders, the course covers key topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as introducing fractions, decimals, and geometry. Students will also explore patterns, measurements, and problem-solving strategies that will help them apply math in real-life situations. By the end of the course, students will have gained confidence in their ability to tackle more complex math challenges, laying a strong foundation for success in higher-level math.

Ocean Life

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 2nd-4th Grade in the Fall of 2025

Can an octopus open a jar of peanut butter? How old can sea turtles really be? Does the largest living mammal really live in the ocean? Do all sharks eat fish? All these questions will be answered and more in Ocean Life! Dive into this class and learn all about the big blue ocean and it’s marine life! We will talk about the fish, mammals and many other animals that call this wet place home. We will even go into the deep dark abyss and see the crazy creatures there! We will also discuss how to help keep our oceans healthy and clean! Take a swim with us, create art for each ocean topic we discuss and have a splash of a good time in Ocean Life!

Outdoor Field Sports

Enjoy learning outside playing a vast array of games such as; Capture the Flag, Frisbee Golf, Whiffle Ball, Golf swing basics, Outdoor Basketball, football and more. On a rainy day, enjoy movies and a snack.​

Our Elementary Summer School Reading Support Class is designed to provide focused help for students who need extra practice to strengthen their reading skills. This class offers a supportive, encouraging environment where students can improve their reading abilities, build confidence, and develop a love for learning. Scrapbook Magic

Get ready to unlock your creativity in this fun, hands on Scrapbook Magic class! In this enchanting class, you will create a scrapbook filled with your special memories, stories, and artwork.  From cutting and gluing to designing your own pages with stickers, stamps, and photos, every session is an exciting journey into the world of imagination. You will put together scrapbook pages for a variety of topics, including pets, vacations, holidays, family, friends and much more. Bring your pictures to class or add them to your finished layouts later. You will leave class with a special keepsake of your favorite memories! ​

Special Education Reading and Math

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 1st-4th Grade in Fall of 2025

Class Fee $5

Students enrolled are recommended by their special education teacher. Small group instruction that targets IEP goals in reading and math is meant to maintain skills gained during the school year. Some support is available for general education classes.

Yoga, Mindfulness and Sunshine

GRADE LEVEL: Students entering 1st-4th Grade in the Fall of 2025

​Learn how to be a healthier you! Stretch your body, improve your balance, and have fun practicing yoga and mindfulness all in the sunshine! In this class, we will be learning new yoga poses, mindfulness basics, and spending time outside in the sunshine, all while building attention span, self-control, and compassion. Yoga mats will be provided and taken home at the end of the session.
